Horsegram chutney

About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soaked horse gram

  • 2 tbsp grated fresh coconut

  • 1 tsp white sesame 

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

  • 1 tsp jaggery

  • Pink himalayan salt to taste

Preparation

  1. In an iron pan, dry roast the soaked horse gram. 

  2. Add 2 tbsp coconut oil in the pan & add the rest of the ingredients and roast until fragrant. 

  3. Then, grind to a dry chutney in a blender.

  4. Serve with idli / dosa / rice.
